This book had me hooked! with the focus on supernatural prison world we get to deal with secrets, love and a 1000 year promise from a dead king. Ah this book is definitely worth the read.
General comments
I enjoyed this book very much and have already jumped to reading the next one. I couldn't put it down and now I'm waiting very patiently for the third. I don't want to give anything away so I won't go too detailed but this book has a lot going on that makes you never want to put it down, it just continues to keep pulling you in.
Characters
This book was run by its characters, they were so well written its like the just wrote themselves. They became real people to me and the relationship our main character Jessa has with her 4 best friends who are Quadruplets, is amazing and loving and so loyal. I want a pair of them for myself!
World Building
World building was really cool and detailed, we get that its in the real world but separate from it by magic to keep humans out of their towns, so the supes as they call themselves can live peaceably and be themselves. We get a view on how they run themselves as a people and through the characters we see how each different type of supe is.
Overall a must read throughly enjoyable!
