I couldn’t bring myself to finish this book,I got about 87% through it but I couldn’t do it. I feel bad because I think there were some good ideas and has potential it just didn’t do it for me and I had to put it down because I stopped enjoying it.

General Comments

So the main reason I will put down a book or basically just drift away from it slowly is the characters. I can’t stand lying in a book when it would be so much easier to tell the truth and move on to the problem or whatever is the main issue/idea of the book.

Characters

In this book our main character actually had an idea she wasn’t human or normal which is different as it wasn’t just thrust on her as a surprise. But she was still kept in the dark for the most part. So its like Hey! I know what I am… but really I don’t so will everyone please stop keeping secrets. ahhhg it just got to be too much for me. Amongst the insta love that I didn’t really like or “ this is literally super obvious but let me keep wondering the answer” situations.

World building

its kind of like an alternate reality where theres magic and creatures in real life and I didn’t know if they went back to another “world” or dimension or it all just was located on the same plane.
Overall I probably wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone, sorry.
